The LION among the WOLVES-Behind The Scenes who are you?

“A Lion never looses its sleep over the opinion of a sheep /wolf”.The story  very well narrated.

Moral:  Do not involve yourself in a bad company or a bad situation else you may end up getting punished for no fault of yours.  Sometimes, It’s wise to stay away from certain situations.

For some years now, I haven’t really wanted anything that money could buy.

I bet a lot of you are in the same mind space. Ok!! now coming back to our story to see why the introspection keep reading.

Walt-Disney-Lambert the Sheepish LION:

I have always been an avid fan of Walt Disney. Its animation is not only a treat to the eyes but also to ears for its lyrics.

Lambert the Lion cub is one such character,I am intrigued by him since childhood. So, this 8 minute film focuses on Lambert, a lion cub that was mistakenly left with a flock of sheep by a stork.

Jungle motivation:

Lambert in jungle lives most his life thinking he is a sheep, but is ostracized by his peers for being and acting different until he is forced to defend the flock from an attack by a hungry wolf.

Thereafter, the now-adult Lambert is wholeheartedly accepted by the other sheep as one of the flocks.

Workplace blues:

What if Lambert was in Corporate ? If you feel stifled at the workplace, shut your eyes, feel your need….don’t rush to rescue it.

Just feel the emptiness for a while-think of Lambert how he overcomes all his fears and ends up being the Hero.

On the surface he looks so funny but like water there is so much depth underneath his personality.Besides being very entertaining, his character also tackles some deeper concerns, such as bullying, self-esteem, courage.Bullies focus on the personal life more than on work life – it hurts all the more!

It would be unfair if I don’t mention Warner Bros– (good childhood days), remembered the other day I was watching this movie Training Day, Denzel Washington’s character( senior police officer)informs his new team that, in this world, you can either be a wolf or a sheep, “and it takes a wolf to catch a wolf”. The predators who use charm, manipulation, or violence against other human beings to meet their own needs. The most wolf-like sheep.

Ups and downs are parts of one’s career, growing at work is not easy as it seems.

It also shows how important it is to not to judge somebody based on the role they play. Generally people  ignore their usual “moral compass” under certain circumstances (especially when instructed to do so by a person who appears to be of some authority).

One of the mistakes that all of us make is:

We are always looking for ways to label ourselves and others.

Social Identity Theory:

It’s never about the Dominant it’s all about the “Submissive”. True submission is a gift until you know when to change it.

Do the right thing. Repeat. Your character will get you through the hard places.

Glad that I am not stuck anymore (my last article) professionally.

Wish there are more LIONS than WOLVES but on the contrary, such LIONS are reporting to WOLVES.“One who is mentored by lions is fiercer than one who is mentored by wolves.”

Don’t ever limit yourself.don’t ever let your past define you.

Be like water:”It finds a way, always without losing its flow”
